Circulation – General Reading Room
The general reading room consists of academic books, juvenile and adult fiction and pamphlets. Patrons are able to borrow two (2) items from this collection for a period of 2 weeks at a time. A 2-week renewal may be allowed if there is no expressed need for a returned item.
Circulation – Reserved Book Collection (RBC)
The Reference department houses encyclopedias, dictionaries, a West Indies collection and books that are heavily used and in great demand. Material in this section are mainly used in the library but may be borrowed overnight, and/or weekends depending on availability.
Overnight loans are allowed from 2:00 pm and must be returned by 11:00 am on the following day. Loans taken on a Friday must be returned by 11:00 am on Monday.
A fine of $30.00 per day is applicable for each general reading room book that is overdue, while a fine of $50.00 per hour is applicable for each RBC item that is overdue.
Lost books must be either paid for or replaced.
Electronic Library Usage
The library houses a small computer room for patron access where users may conduct research research via the Internet or the electronic databases, do word processing and also print their work. Computer usage is limited to 45 minute sessions, with additional minutes being allowed if there is no demand for machines at the given time.
Within the framework of the institution’s JAMCOPY licence the library offers photocopying and printing services at the following prices:

Colour (full – letter)
Colour (full – legal)
Colour (all other)
Laminating is offered at the following rates:
Binding is done at a cost of:
$5 per page (up to 50 pages)
$10.00 per page (for each additional page)
